Perhaps a lot like you, I am captive to my life-long desire for adventure. I found my way to the Aleutians in the early 1990s. The community of Unalaska/Dutch Harbor drew me in with the feel of real Alaskan ‘bush’ village. While living in this hub village of the Aleutians, I have set about on countless exploratory trips and treks of the surrounding wilderness and neighboring islands. These endeavors have continued to lead me to overwhelming discoveries of culture, history and the unbelievable natural environment of this vast archipelago.
I started Aleutian Adventure Sports in 1994 to fulfill a dream of continuing my exploration and study of our spectacular wilderness, and to offer my experiences to others. After more than a decade in the Aleutians, my company is the most experienced adventure trip outfitter in the Chain. We are the only local year-round resident outfitter that operates here. Unalaska is our home, and the Aleutian Islands and surrounding waters are our big backyard.
